Professor of the International College of Martial Arts, 6th dan Shorin-Ryu and Goju-Ryu, representative of the International Okinawa Shorin Ryu Seibukan Karate Association Anatoly Mitrofanov visited Azerbaijan.
Invited by vice-president of Azerbaijan Sindo-ryu and Pencak Silat Federation Abbas Humbatov, Anatoly Mitrofanov conducted a seminar for members of Azerbaijan`s national team.
He provided an insight into the latest changes in Shorin-Ryu style of karate and shared his rich experience with Azerbaijani fighters.
Athletes who successfully completed the seminar were awarded certificates.
Stressing the importance of the seminar, Abbas Humbatov said it would contribute significantly to the improvement of Azerbaijani fighters` skills and proficiency.
Anatoly Mitrofanov `s visit was a joint initiative of Azerbaijan Sindo-ryu and Pencak Silat Federation and the International Okinawa Shorin Ryu Seibukan Karate Association.
President of the International Okinawa Shorin Ryu Seibukan Karate Association Shimomuko Zempo will visit Azerbaijan in the near future.
